Finally, this year it looks like I may finally get some peaches and pears. I planted a couple of trees of each 5 years ago and haven't had any luck until this year. The trees have been doing well but just not producing. We didn't have any hard freezes at the wrong time this spring I guess. Still no cherries and don't expect to get any for years yet if ever. They just don't want to grow.

Did you prune them. Usually get blossoms after a good pruning.

had first peaches on mine last year.sweet cherries,plums,pears,and 12 new apples all seem to have set blossoms this year.strawberries also are heavily blossomed.

It's going to be a poor fruit year here. It rained almost every day the blossoms were on and my peach trees, plum trees and nectarine trees have no fruit developing. My apples mostly have no fruit and only half my pair trees have fruit. My sour cherries, which bloomed earlier, have a decent if not spectacular fruit set. The mulberry trees look ok. My black raspberries are just starting to bloom now.

Things were looking good full blossom until real nice frost last night.

I have 32 fruit trees at my place near Snow Shoe, Pa. Over the weekend, I saw fruit was set on Winesap, Yellow Delicious and Red Delicious apples. Lots of Seckle pears and peaches this year too. Summer apples and several other pear varieties will have no fruit this year.
