Set them all and wire tie them open so they stay flat. I once got a dozen coyote cuffs in a large flat rate box.

I have had really good luck "nesting" coils together but #3 size is about as big as will fit. I know I can get 8 #3 double longs in a large FR box so I would THINK you could get 12 coils.
I have nothing clever to put here.

If you could find one of those gals that worked for Victor back in the '50-60's, I'll bet they could get 18 in that box. They had a system that worked for them. I tried to get a dozen #1 LS back in the original box....... Best I could do was 11 1/2...... half of a spring or dog sticking out!
Couldn't figure out how they did it, and got all the flaps closed up.

I have popped the springs loose from the levers before so the jaws are floppy. My new go-to method as well.
