So this happened tonight, Sissy jumped up on Nova’s high chair and finished her sandwich she didn’t eat from supper

She's just practicing for all the counter surfing she's gonna do in your kitchen snatching steaks and burgers off the counter.

that she is bob!! and yupper................no dog can match a beagle once you've had them. warms my heart to see sissy and my granddaughter nova playing together..............a kid needs a dog...........plain and simple!!

I had beagles for many years. After my kids, and then years later, the grand kids, ate, I would let the beagles in, to clean the floor. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up all of the food the kids dropped.

I have a food thief as well. Just hard to get very mad at them. Nice pup.

My 7 year old GSP stole a stick of butter off the counter the other day while I was at work... he hasn't done that in years... go figure.

Personally, I'd put a stop to that behavior real fast!.
Cute puppy though.

You sure did get a beautiful beagle pup !!! I think I remember you looking for a beagle pup here not too long ago.You hit the jack pot on finding a really nice looking one.

They are like kids - they have to learn right from wrong too. My male is 7 yrs old.And while he is not likely to snatch a sandwhich if he knows we are watching if we forget and leave some food in a lower spot he can get to and we are not close and watching then he will snatch a sandwhich or most any food real quick in a heartbeat.If he see's that we are watching him or tell him NO then he wont do it. But there have been times where I have had to pretty much take the blame especially if the sandwhich or food stolen or taken contains meat.I mean like if I leave a hamburger or bologna sandwhich down low like on a coffe table or end table and then leave the room for a few then it is like in his instincts to snatch up that meat that his big finely tuned nose so easily picks up on.Still not good but I see that situation as my fault for leaving it right where he can get it so easy.Now if that sandwhich is up on the dining table or counter top then he is gonna be in more trouble than just a no no.

I keep coming back to look at that "Oh Crap" look on the pup's face! LOL

I guess that's what they call a hallmark moment!!.............lol
