I purchased a older CDR trap from a man that got it directly from Carl Jones. On the bottom of the base plate it is stamped NO. 0024 and below that is stamped CDR 1000. Does anyone know anything about the numbers stamped on it? I have asked a few people and nobody has ever seen stamped ones. It has never been used and in out of the box condition. Thanks, Don

Thanks, Paul Mine looks like your first one. Any idea how many were numbered? No, I don't know how many there were like that. I had about a dozen of them. I've been offering them for our fundraising auctions over the years. I think I have one of them left, but I don't recall the number.

They went to wire because it was an improvement. They rode up on the jaws farther giving them better holding power. They definitely do that. I don't get misses with them. If a CDR is fired there's a foot in it.
