Is it still in business? I can’t get the website address to open. He hasn’t been active on Tman since June, 2018. I sent a private message earlier this evening and am waiting on a reply. He’s got good products. Hope he didn’t go out of business.

Rich sold his business, but I don't recall who bought it.

Bummer. Does anyone know who he sold it too? Who is making his lures/baits now?

Rich was always a very hard working guy, down to earth, and liked to live off the land. When he lived a few miles to West of me many years ago, I used to run into him at Turkey Creek Furs during season. Guy always had a truck load of coon or beaver when he came in the East side door, and Roger Belhavy would just smile when he started grading. Rich made some cool modifications for 330s to make them more efficient beaver takers. His RK baits were good stuff. At state conventions Rich would pull up in his old van and unload the goods for sale at his spot. Would always take the time to help folks with sets and issues on their line. Yes he cussed a little now and then, sometimes got a little political in his talk, but that was what my kids liked about him...he was genuine through and through, spoke what he believed, and didn't mince his words. I will never forget the smile on my son's face when Rich told him "kid there is a (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) ton of fox on the blue river, and you just need to make this set in this type of location and you will be sharpening your knife for next day's check." I couldn't tell if it was the tip, or the colorful language, but my son never forgot that statement and still mentions it when we are setting edge of timber trails in winter.
There are several others around here that have been big influences on me... Dennis Vicars, Kenny Kreshel, 1CrazyTrapper, my uncle Fred, and Rich did too.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Casey ain't been on in over a year and the website in his profile is Chinese- try this https://predatorplus.com/
I looked for the threads that were posted a couple years ago when the change took place, but they must be gone; there were a few people that didn't like the new product and a couple that did. Some of the supply houses sell his stuff too so shouldn't be hard to get.

Not sure what you mean by this Beav??? I will weigh in and tell you that Rich is very honest! His mind goes a million mules an hour which can cause him to be disorganized. He's always been more worried about paying his bills to me then me paying him. I've known Rich well for about 15 years now, He is who he is and I happen to like him.

Rich did a lot of custom work on traps and stabilizers for use w 330's for me. Gave me a lot of good advice on river trapping. He always treated me fair and honest. Talked w him on the phone some when he was in the shop and off the line. I never met him in person, I was I could. I don't know what he is up to now, but I wish him all the luck in the world. Hope our paths cross someday, would like to sit across a campfire from him and drink a beer or a cup of coffee.

Rich used to post on here some and he would take the time to give you an honest answer if you asked him a question, or for his opinion on private mail. The DVDs he put out were well done and informative.
He always seemed like he would be a real hard worker and a good guy to trap with. Always enjoyed his insights when he posted on the forum. Hope he is doing well and hope he still gets to trap some.
Mac

Casey Rawles AKA businessman trapper is no Rich Casper. He loves to run down kids for asking questions on facebook trapping sites. Rich loves to share what he knows with kids. LLL
