Well along the lines of yard care . My neighbor was wondering how I made my yard so green and weed free. I told him all the steps I went thru and he decided to just call a lawn service. He told me how they put down fertilizer and then sprayed it to kill all the weeds. Said as soon as it rained it would be so green and he didn't even lift a finger. Told me it would be easy and I should use them . LOL LOL LOL
I think the lawn tech guy got the wrong bottle off the truck !!!!!!!

Edit, I see a nice tree. Tell him to insist on that being replaced should it die soon.

Probably didn't want to bend when riding his spray.

You should at a minimum always stay outside the "dripline" of trees when using lawn chemicals especially ones that contain herbicides. Keep weed n feed ect away from your trees if you want them to remain healthy.

This happened to a local farmer who bought round up ready corn seed. Turned out it wasn't round up ready after he sprayed the entire 160 acres! That would be very expensive for the seed dealer lol

Must have had a dandelion in the lawn...

We had a lawn service do something similar 2 years ago (although not nearly as bad). Before that application the yard was looking OK. After 2 days of that application you could see where they went around every tree and bush.(Brown) The backyard is just starting to recover.

....And NO we didn't employ them the next year!!!

If he used a professional lawn care service they have some liability in this for sure. Never saw lawns miss sprayed this badly but I walked a lot of fields over the years when fields were sprayed with the wrong chemical or at the wrong time. One of the more common problems early on with Round Up was that it scrubs or cleans sprayer tanks very, very well, so if someone did a poor job of rinsing their tank with a chemical and then put Round Up in the tank there could be moderate to serious crop damage on the crop being sprayed with Round Up that was susceptible to the previous chemical or mix.
