I joke, but the flooding around my house isn't bad. I live on a corner lot and that corner is bottom of grade for the drainage ditches... One north-south, the other east-west. When it comes a toad-strangler my yard floods but the water level falls pretty quick... But it still stays too marshy to mow, so it grows out of control.

Lately about the time it dries enough to mow we get another round of storms.

I got the build up as it passed me headed your way. Just now, looking Southwest, appears I might oughta start dinner. Just feels right, and that ain’t good.

Im broke down on the side of the hwy. oil in my antifreeze. Lots of oil. Waiting on a tow truck. Ground is all mud. Creeks and rivers are all out and still raining. Has warmed up some. That gets my attention.

Based on radar it may go just North of me... But Miami may be in for it... Again.

I wish you okies would keep them things to yourselves, we been flooded in over half the days since the first week of April. Every time it dries up enough to go some where y'all boost another storm on us. This one might track north of me, by just a few miles. Already at wade out to go any where water levels.

1:00 am and the sirens are going off again. There's a tornado just outside of town, but looks to be headed away from us.

Apparently we did have one try to drop down on us yesterday afternoon. Kinda thought so.

Bad here in SW Mo last night. Tornado killed 3 just NE of golden city. and lots of damage up north in Jeff City. Also damage around Joplin. Major flooding. Still storming at my place this morning. House shaking thunder and heavy, heavy rain.

Made it OK. Power was out all night. Third time this week I've had to hunker down... Starting to take it personal.
