Surely the reintroduction of wolves hasn't forced the bears to extend their range to feed their selves?

I don't live in griz area but have friend and people I know that do. Grizzles are place now that they never have been before. Wildfires have pushed them to low land and now seem to call these areas home away from home type thing. With some companies now they require or let their work force carry protection in areas they never had to before.

Read about Lewis & Clark and their encounters with the grizzlies on the plains and how they were shocked by these. Hugh Glass wasn't in the mountains when he was left for dead either. Exactly he was in South Dakota

Grizzly's used to live in and around Denver, this would be a great place to restock problem bears from WY. and MT. I'd love to see them around Rocky MT. National Park. Write your Congressman ( especially you "D"s)......to much to resist.

I can just see it now. Reintroducing grizzlies to their native lands, and all the new hunting and trapping regulations that will come after that.

Bring back the bison also. The Plains was once the Serengeti of North America.

And when they get some they will not want them in a short time span.

As a person living on the edge of grizzly bear habitat I sat in on a " living with wildlife " meeting aimed toward livestock producers. So if I remember correctly if your trapping and snaring coyotes and a grizzly starts preying on the livestock and the Fed's are called in to catch the offending bear or bears you have to snap your traps and knock down your snares so you don't inter fear with the capture of the bear. Maybe this will work maybe not I've got a feeling some will solve the problem with other means instead of jumping through all those hoops. I still feel that a hunting season will help reduce conflicts across the Pacific Northwest between livestock producers and outdoor recreational users . Boco we already have the Serengeti in Montana the crow Indian Reservation is about 2.2 million acres and they have buffalo and other wildlife on the rez, another group is trying to do the same thing north of the Missouri River Breaks I'd rather they did that in your area than in mine. Allan And the Tribes are promoting a permanent ban on any potential Grizzly bear hunting season EVER in the lower 48 states, no matter where grizzlies may re-populate to. They claim that in they're religion bears were revered as almost like grandparents, and trophy hunting them is WRONG. So what were grizzly claw necklaces all about? Trophy's of a hunters prowess!
