neutralizer? My sisters car got sprayed by a giant angry skunk. Even the inside is stinky. Is the neutralizer mix safe to use on car paint and a cars interior? What's the recipie? I remember shampoo and hydrogen peroxide.

I’m not sure if it is safe on fabric or paint. Use some on a hidden area first.



Skunk Odor Removal
Mix all ingredients together in a plastic bucket;

1 quart hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 teaspoon liquid dishsoap

Use a sponge or cloth to wipe the animal, can do the inside of the mouth but KEEP OUT OF THE EYES! Mix as needed, doesn't store well after mixing.

Have had good results using "artifical vanilla" to neutralize the skunk odor. Put it into a spray bottle. MUST be artifical vanulla. Chemical make up changes skunk essense. It will make everything smelll like a giant vanilla bean.

Dawn dish washing liquid - big squirt
One small box Baking soda
One bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide.About a pint size
Mit all together and use then it does not store well.

Fresh Wave odor eliminator. Ace Hardware or WCS. Put inside to eliminate the skunk odor. I put a canister of this in a five gallon bucket and 3 cotton balls that had 3 drops of pure quill apiece on them. 2 days later no skunk. I've recommended it to all my customers for several years now. There is a local B&B company that started using it in all their locations during the slow or off season after I'd removed some problem critters. Great product. 7oz. jar about $9.
