It's about three feet tall, with dark red flowers where the leaves originate on the stem.

Might be a variety of motherwort. If so, it's in the mint family so the leaves would have a noticeable odor when crushed.

The reason I asked is I found some caterpillars on them. Turns out they are likely snowberry clearwing moth caterpillars.
