eric space OP trapper E Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 1,251 wantage n.j.	Had a call about a beaver problem. 30+ acre lake, different guys been tryin' to catch this last problem beaver since December. Owner had paid out over $800.00 to one guy and he got zilch. I went there, could find no lodge, no bankhole, beaver living in a large underwater cave. Beaver was spooky of castor mounds, bait sets, conibears (no foottraps allowed here) . I walked the complete lake shore twice, put in one snare and had the beaver 2 days later. Sometimes I am just good at what I do! Was a large rock about 6 feet off of a point and I noticed that there was no seaweed/moss underwater next to the rock. I swam to the rock, jury-rigged a snare on brick next to the rock, half in and half out of the 6 foot deep water and smoked him. My Price? Permission to catch snappers from this and 2 other lakes the man owns (value maybe $2,000.00) Eric
