About 10 years ago I was casting around on the internet trying to find bulk lanolin (I was thinking like 5 gallons or something) and found a small cosmetic company that had gone out of business. They were trying to unload two 55 gallon drums of lanolin. I don't remember what I paid for it but I was embarrassed that I got it so cheap. For about 3 years, everyone I knew got lanolin . . . for their birthday, father's day, Christmas, etc. Wish I would have known you back then. :-)

With the prices of lanolin continuing to rise annually it will be one of those ingredients that will become too costly to sell and work with soon. It is almost cost prohibitive currently. In the near future I wont be carrying or using it unless I find a more reasonable source once our current inventory is gone.
