Sitting at the picnic table working on fishing poles and caught some movement at the edge of the yard. Thought it was a hen until this little one stood up, turned around and laid back down. Took a couple of quick pictures, now we wait until sunset to see where mom comes from to pick him up after school.

I was walking in a bean field when the beans were about 3'' tall looking at my bean stand and walked upon one and all I saw was his eye move and about scared me to death. He never did move and I just backed up.

Once I was planting beans no till and ran over on with the no till cutter, did too much damage for him to survive so did the humane thing.

Thats's a great picture.

yep I have been looking every day now. Out deer movement has shut down almost completely. This tells me the fawns should be hitting the ground now. Nice pictures. Always enjoy this time of the year.

Beautiful!
Thanks for sharing that picture and pretty cool to find them and getting a picture.

Not to take away from your picture and story but would like to share this picture. Here is triplets I run into a few years back.

Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

Yep,so true,I can usually get a couple to three weeks in the garden when does are dropping. They make up for it though!
