Flipped on the t.v. this morning and Backroads With Ron and Raven was on. Ice fishing with a fella named Jack Pine from Elly, MN. Fishing lake trout. Any chance that was THE Jack Pine from T-Man?

Nope. Our JackPinsSavage was Arnie Peterson from Northome. Sadly, he passed away this spring.

I remembered that he'd passed. I think this episode was a year or two old. There was a part in show about wood duck houses also, and Ron referred to the fella in the show as Jack Pine and also Arnie? That's what spurred my question. Thought maybe it was one in the same.

It was on Fox Sports North, I caught the last 20 seconds of it again this morning. No episode # was given. I went to the BR website to try and find episode's, etc. Had no success with that. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

trapper chris,,,look up some of the old threads on here, with jack pine savage, or arne Peterson, and youll recognize him from the show, if it was him. I remember pics on the weasel threads, and the "old guys" threads.
