Missed this one due to local softball tourney and the Brewers going into the 13h. Ufftaahh!!! as the Norskies would say. Just saw some highlights or low lights if you will. A good old fashioned drubbing from the few minutes I reviewed. Domination like this one can give a team some real confidence and everything from then on seems like down hill instead of up hill. I feel the Bruins will put the heat on the young goalie right away in the next game to see if his confidence is back or gone. Need to be able to shake these things off but we will find out.

From my seat, the Blues started off the game DOMINATING. I thought it was going to be another long night for Boston, then the 1st 5 minutes of period 1 were over and the wheels completely fell off. Binnigton couldn't stop ANYTHING. Blues defenders were out of position, they kept turning it over in their own zone, they could not convert any scoring oppertunities, they had to have hit the goal post at least 5 times. It was just bad all around. The blues had 29 shots on goal and 2 goals. That is pathetic. Seemed to me, and this is going to sound really simple, but STL literally shot the puck at Rusk, whereas the Bruins shot around Binnington. ANd Bostons PP was insane, Blues PK was the literal opposite.

It was the 1st hockey I have watched that was 0 fun. Hopefully the next few games will at least be competitive.

The next game is the biggest game of the season. Go up 3-1 or a tied 2-2series. Should be a great game.

And BOTH St. Louis goals were deflected off Bruins defenseman......in other words ....garbage goals....(but they still count..)

Still have my mask from 1971 ...played Midget Hockey and High School...practiced with some college players and played in the Beer Leagues.
