so took 40 pounds of beaver meat to butcher got 20 pounds of slim jim's and 20 ground into hamburger and 20% pork all turn out great
wife said cant tell it wild meat

Sounds awesome. My co-workers laugh at me when I tell them that beaver is on the menu for me about 3 days a week. Then they give me really concerned looks when I tell them that I have some 15 or 20 beaver cut up, in my freezer.

That is a good price,the butcher I use charges $2 for burger and $4 for slim jims.

Neat idea. Never thought of getting beav meat turned into value-added meat products. I wonder if any of our "lockers" do it around here...
