I have a couple pair of good boots that have the soles peeling off. The boots are still in good condition as far as the uppers are concerned but the soles are flopping around a bit too much now. Duck tape doesn't last too long.

Any good durable glues available that I can use to hold the soles in place for another few years. I have tried a few things that don't last long.

Bob, I've used construction adhesive with good results. Use a thin layer. Boot Goop does not hold up.

I have had good luck with shoe goo.

e6000 works. get everything as clean as you can

Hide glue, it's what the Amish use and it last.
I make my own.

Aqua seal. Has worked every time I've used it-ripped waders, small leaks, reattaching soles to sneakers and rubber boots.

Barge cement is the name brand that shoe repair people use.

Shoo Goo. It’s fairly inexpensive off amazon Bob, and it really does the job and lasts

I'm with Newt on this one seen lots of contact cement used for that type repair. Next go to for me is the Aqua-Seal or as I have mentioned in other post. Polyurethane windshield sealer. Which I believe is pretty much same thing as Aqua-Seal at way less the price. Actually what I've used last couple times I've glued soles on.
