Yep, back to working nights and I do enjoy it. Something to be said about not being around when the suits are in the building. The longer you work and live the more you will know that you can never ever trust as suit. Just look at the government.

I work nights. Have been for the last 6 years. I like it for many reasons- less bosses, a little extra money (3rd shift premium), works great for my family schedule and gives me the mornings to run my line during trapping season. Plus, I've never really been much of a morning person. The night is always more peaceful.
When life gets me down..... you know hunting/trapping season is closed.

12hr rotating swing shift here. The 12hr part is the easiest I think. If it was straight days or nights I don't think it would be quite as bad.

My father-in-law did that for several years... 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off. 12 hour shifts and changed from days to nights every two weeks. Tough way to make a living. Mike

I don't understand, do some of you guys get paid to "surf the net"? What kind of job do you have that puts up with that?
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Swings here as well. 12 hour shifts. 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days 3 nights, 4 off, 4 days, 6 off. Repeat. Not horrible at the refinery.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement!

Programmer/electrician. A Lot of the time I'm in my controls office programming or making changes or from my iPad. When its slow we just wait until we get a call for something. We have to keep the plant running. So I'm usually here at my computer working on projects then refresh tman to see whats happening.

12 HR night shifts for me the last 8 years. Less brass listening to the radio and a better customer to deal with than daytime folks. Would not trade it although the wife grips about it.
