I was reading the release on the Bobcats from the NAFA sale. They stated "There was selective demand for the flatter types of lynx cat." What does that mean?

I've seen some extremely flat cats alongside the highway! Only good for refrigerator magnets.

Flat = no heft/heaviness to the fur...short nap/under fur not heavy.

If you ever get the opportunity to touch a bcat pelt that grades Western and heavy you'll know the difference. Or if you have seen one of those and ever get to touch a Georgia bcat you'll learn the difference.

Opposite of flat cats.
