Craigslist is HUGE. They don't charge to look/ buy but I assume they make $. How?

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

They charge for a small amount of listings but apparently it makes them hundreds of millions of dollars.

Craigslist makes money only through a handful of revenue streams. It charges a $25 fee to post a job listing in six major U.S. cities. It charges $75 for a job listing in the San Francisco area. Last, the company charges a $10 fee to list an apartment rental in New York

I love craigslist, and I love it even more that it's free. Can't even say how much stuff I've bought and sold on there over the years. Kind of like those ragged coyotes, even when you think something is worthless, there's usually a buyer out there looking for that exact thing.

But back to your original point, I had never really thought about their revenue. I wonder how many people they employ?
