Pete in Frbks and bucksnbears I found a spot way back off the road along a power line that there was a power pole that looked similar. I have baited that area for years and has always been a good spot.

If you do that, you will then have the most attractive rubbing post for feral hogs. I have seen trailcam videos where every feral hog in the area would rub on a creosote powerline pole. You might be able to shoot hogs in NJ.

And so will bears. They love creosote.

Harness that energy to send electric power up the pole.

any body ever wonder if you put about 50 screws and cut the heads off with the angle grinder so that they were sharp 2 inch spikes if it would deter the bears.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

That would deter the linemen too. Can't put staples, screws or nails in the pole.
