I suspect it will be about 9 days before the first black raspberries are ripe here, which is later than normal. The mulberries were late and the sour cherries are going to be late too.

They just finished blossoming.

I recently wacked a bunch of those wild jaggers. They paid me back with blood and poison ivy.
Oh and found my missing in action snakes too.
I like em and use em, but they don't compare to cultivated berries.

We have problems with wild birds eating our cultivated blueberries.

I was having trouble with the jaggers trying to eat my truck paint lol. It does em good to get pruned once in awhile.

I have a variety I don't know what it is. Leaves shaped like Jap maple, real big jaggers and gets huge sweet berries. Been trying to expand them. Could have been planted a hundred years ago or less.
I need someone with the plant ID App. I've searched and not found.

Blueberries around this area require bird netting.

Hope this week we can get a few days of sunshine to make them come on their just a tease now need to get some before the honey comes on.

Our just finished blossoming berries are little green BBs..looking to be a lot of them though if nothing happens to them. plenty wet.
