My wife finally gave up with this dog breaking leashes and told me to do something.

#2 machine chain, two swivels, and a saber

She has met her match!

I used to use a pair of earth anchors to hold my 75# lab and 50# Akita mix in the yard.

I was out of those. But thought about putting a few of those in random locations around yard for her. Drag was easier

Used to have a irash setter that was a real pro at breaking chains cables and other tie outs, she once tore that metal railing off the steps like it was as nothing, ended up getting no3 machine chain and making a tie out for her

They have nothing better to do with themselves than to do everything in their power to ruin your day! lol

Very true! I gave my dog a job and it seems to help some. His job for now has been to keep the birds off the lawn, keeps him busy for hours....

A choke collar will help stop any dog that thinks it can break a tie. By hooking them to a tie they can break, you are teaching them it is good to pull. Make them not want to pull.

A good old cam lock snare around It's neck would have that dog sitting as pretty as a picture.
