I was doing some upgrade install work at a plant last week that just happens to be close to Walther's USA distribution center (among other brands). They were having a parking lot sale. I left with a couple of Walther's, an H&K, couple of FFP scopes, and more. Some of the products they were selling were refurbs, some were over-runs. Bought a new Creed for $140 total. I told the fella next to me in the LONG checkout line "only in America could you have something like this!"

The problem? One of the workers saw me trying to hold on to everything and said "I think you have a problem!" I started to tell her it's a right, not a privilege, but when I looked up to speak she was offering me a box to put everything in. Even got a t-shirt and coaster, compliments. My cup runneth over.

Right place,right time. Good for you.

Must have been a glimpse of Heaven. Cheap guns, money in your pocket and no wife to say NO!!

That's terrific! Something like that would have cost me some very serious money had I been fortunate enough to have been there.
