We just finished up my 10 year olds season Friday, they finished second. He also played in the 12u tournament Sat but they were outclassed early. He gets nervous playing with the older kids but he played as well as anyone there and the coaches were impressed. He really upped his desire to play hard and win this year and it showed. His pitching in the tournaments this week was fantastic even after pitching 15 innings in three nights. They’ve asked him to play some travel tournments this summer so that’ll be different.
But as much as I love baseball season, the behavior of some of the coaches and parents was beyond reprehensible. We nearly had to call the police one night. If they don’t get some leadership that actually leads in the league next year I’ll pull him out and we’ll go to a league that does. I’ll never sit through a year like this again.
