I finished up some nuisance beaver spots today-took a canoe ride and broke a couple of big dams.
Then T-bone on the bar b q and a visit from the great grandchildren.

Recovering today from staining 142 stairs and 6 landings. Full body workout.

Lol You got that huge staircase all done?

Have to make a return trip. Those stairs and railings were thirsty and probably hadn't been stained in 10 years by the looks of them. They soaked up 10 gallons like a sponge. Got all but 21 stairs and 2 landings done. Gonna take another 12 gallons with me on the return trip. 3 gallons or so to finish unstained portion. Probably another 9 for the second coat.

Sifted 10 Gallons of dirt to make wax dirt this July and put 2 ladder stands together

Hanging out with the kids and my whole friend I raised last season who decided to come back a week ago

Yea we will, I figure he'll probably leave before then. We hadn't seen him but once since October when we released him and the doe, she wont get any closer than 100 yds now so I'm glad

That is a nice coon print. Bit of glare but nice.

I acquired that print out in Maine, during the deer hunt of "03" when My partner and I happened on his friend that had bitten off more than he could chew on a concrete pour. I stepped in there, Johny on the spot, and helped him hand finish that, and made a nice piece of work out of it when it was about to get away from him.

The owner allowed for some more hunting, drove over and gave me that print before I left the state.
Some local artist from that area over around Newport, I believe.

Still couldn't get rid of the glare, lol.

That is a beauty, who is the artist? My old eyes can't quite make it out.
At least the last pic looks like it could be a sunset.
