Recently picked up a 200A and they guy before me ran unleaded gas in it so I drained that out, put a new generator in it. And the problem I'm running into now is that I'm not getting fuel to come up through the generator until the knob is almost 3/4 of the way out. Would it be the valve itself that is clogged up causing this? Or something else that I'm missing.

I don't know anything about the model you noted , but I've run a lot of Coleman lanterns over the years, they've always seem a bit finicky but seems like you can always get them to work just keep messing with it.

Pick up tube in the tank needs cleaned out. Unscrew the valve in the tank and it will be the tube that goes to the bottom of the tank. It will unscrew from the valve. Give everything a good cleaning. There is a spring and a rod in the tube. There is a small hole in the bottom of the housing tube. Make sure it is open and clean. Carburetor cleaner works well for cleaning these parts. Good Luck.

Love the 200a , red or the more rare green ? clean the tank and pick up tube. Make sure you pump it about 30X then once lit and glowing pump some more.

you use colman or other white gas and avoid that issue.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Got some and I used to fix them . But clean very good , like said .There was a older guy in Rochester Indiana who was the Coleman repair man. Got parts from him years ago, But one thing he told me was NO GAS even in a duel fuel .Coleman fuel only. He said Coleman fuel is refined so good you could drink it??

I run 92 octane non oxy all the time in mine. You'll have less problems with them if you run them a lot. Letting them set for a while is the problem.
