Hey guys, is anybody else experiencing a horrible year for ticks? I have seen more this year than I have in the last 5 years combined. I was wondering if anybody has any experience getting ticks out of them without using tweezers? I have read of many ways to get a tick to crawl out naturally, but none of them have worked so far. What has worked for you? Thanks

I have been in country that usually would have ticks but have only found a few this year on my cloths. I do mix up a batch of cedarwood, oil and vinegar and seems to help more then I expected.
Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

Has anyone else ever noticed that you never see ticks on domestic cats? Been doing some work at several farms this summer and I noticed that none of the barn cats seem to have any ticks. Now that I think of it, I don't recall ever seeing any on any cat ever. Do cats pick them off or is it something about them that ticks aren't attracted to?
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

Blood test will reveal if i have Alpha-gal syndrome today. This is cause by tick bite Might be end of eating red meat..My doctor said he new of six cases here in southeast kansas. I know a guy that got that - he said he could still eat deer meat but beef made him really sick. We have 'em bad in my neck-o-the-woods, Seems like more deer ticks this year than dog ticks.

Blood test will reveal if i have Alpha-gal syndrome today. This is cause by tick bite Might be end of eating red meat..My doctor said he new of six cases here in southeast kansas. Probably one of the biggest if not the biggest beef producers here in Cherokee county got that from a tick and can no longer eat red meat. Talk about suck. Ticks are more common than ever and I don't think they know what all can be transmitted by the right kind of tick. It's obvious from all the different people here on T-Man that have debilitating illness's from tick bites that the doctors don't have a handle on it. Tick bites are no joke and I wear clothing I treat about everyday. I hope your test comes up negative Len.
