We have a lot of both crusher run and river gravel roads on the farm I take care of. The roads are really hard on tire usually picking them to pieces. I went a bit more aggressive this past set with the Nitto Ridge Grappler. I have not been impressed. Looking for suggestions on an all season tire that should last more than 25,000 miles. Actually have some recaps on an old farm truck that nevers sees asphalt, other than on the driveway. They have a pretty aggressive tread and seem to be holding up well but only see limited miles.

BFG KO2 or Cooper STT Pro. I currently run the Cooper's. More aggressive for the places I go than the BFG's

Firestone a/t ...can’t remember the name....but been running them for 20 years ( not the same tires)..... they always get me 45-50k on a 2500 Gm pick up. 225.00 each included mount and bal.

Could you give what kind / size truck they would be on?

For my Chevy 2500HD CC SB the Firestone Transforce AT have been the best, 55,000+. I have tried the Transforce HT and General Grabber AT2 and they didn’t wear as long. The Grabber AT2 had great winter traction but didn’t make it to 35,0000

Look into commercial traction tires. More expensive than the standard LT truck tires, but they are made to take abuse.

I drove a lot of roads with sharp, white rocks. The only tires I had luck with were the Firestone Destination A/T or Transforce A/T. They are 10 ply, all-season tires.

I drive a light truck, a Chevy 1500 Silverado single cab with the small V-8. Should be easy on tires.

Get an E-rated LT tire. I've run them for years on half tons. They wear so much better than P series tires, or even C series LT tires.

Yep , as several others have said - Firestone TransForce A/T. Great tires. Run them on both my trucks, friends run them on theirs. Usually get between 55,000 - 75000 on them depending type of usage. Worth every penny.

I arrived in wy for my trapping trip, I got a flat with brand new Cooper, 10ply, I took worn out Michelin spare tire out and when worn out Michelin was next to brand new Cooper I could see the Cooper was about an inch shorter than nearly bald Michelin, same number on tires, I figured I lost at least a mile per gallon in my gas mileage

I'm going to get Falken Wildpeaks AT3W. Read many good reviews on them.

I have falken wildpeak MTs on my work truck which is on logging and forest service roads 5 days a week in some rough stuff and am very impressed. I’ve had ko2s and goodyear wrangler duratracs in the past and much prefer the wildpeaks. I liked them so much I put the wildpeak ATs on my personal truck. Hard to beat for the money.
