Yes Bones would have been interesting to talk to.

The story sort of ticks me off !! Too much of an attitude of shooting too far and not following up on the shots !! But the ending of the story makes it worth the discomfort

I'll agree 100% with White about Alaska-Yukon Trophies Won and Lost.

Wild. You're gonna love 'The Long Walk'. I should finish up the book tonight (for the third time). What an epic journey under the grimmest conditions I could imagine.

Try a dose of Wm. Faulkner's The Bear and/or The Big Woods. Good reading!

Tools of the Mountain Men by Russell, then it's Songs Upon the Rivers. I'll read just about anything related to the fur trade.

Sounds like I'm the only one who likes to read weird stuff. Finished two this week. Pope of Palm Beach and No Sunscreen For The Dead by Tim Dorsey.

The Pioneers by David Mccullough. It is on best seller list for non fiction.

Number one in fiction is Where the Crawdads Sing. It is a good summer read.

I read "Where the Crawdads Sing" a couple of months ago. I would rather read non-fiction than fiction, but, that was a pretty darn good book.

Some nice suggestions here.

I really enjoy biographies. I prefer the ones that focus on the person before they became famous or of little known individuals that lived during momentous periods.

Currentyl a short bio on Lincoln. I really enjoy him more than any other president. His ornary wife and hardnose dad I think many can relate to.

White, my memory is good, just short and I have not read the book in a couple years. Were they not talking about a .26 caliber or something way back then?
Now I have to blow the dust off it and read again.
