Jerry said get ahold of the chamber of commerce for the closest town or the warden for that area there might be some landowners who will let you on there land for a trespass fee.

Figured the winter must have been rough. Normally a sure draw in that unit. I have a couple calls in with the ranchers I know. Just waiting for a response.

I'm hearing that #'s are way down due to last winter in that area. I hate to hear that because when I hunted 29 a few years ago they were practically begging us to shoot our limit of doe. We saw a bunch of huge bucks on all the private property along the roads and there seemed to be goats everywhere. I'm hoping to get back out there in a couple years. It STINKS that my boy can't hunt until he's 12 or we would be going now.
Trash your goals and plans for life. Just wing it and you'll never be let down!

Last I looked there were some tags left over for 29 There is. That’s where I’m looking to go. Either 23 or 29. Both have leftovers for next weeks applications. We hunted 22 a couple years ago, and I’m almost certain that the gal owns land in 23, which is east of the river. Waiting to hear back from her. Gonna most likely need permission on private ground. That’s why there’s tags available. I drew for 25 this year and hunt on a private ranch there.

Lots and lots of people didn't draw.
Anything. Yep, nothing here. Point creep is moving the base line. Plus fee changes. Glad I'm not limited to Wyoming.
