ok going down town to talk on radio this morning about trapping an the good things that come from trapping ,and what we [trapper] use from animal ,what do you guys use parts of the animals you catch

Meat for bait
Glands for bait
Skulls for art
Claws for art

I think telling people how much you use gives them the impression that when a carcass isn't used that it is wasted. As we know nothing is wasted in nature and as long as we are taking only the surplus animals there is no negative.

There is a market for the meats of muskrats, raccoons and beaver. Detailed record keeping of K9 catches coupled with inspection of stomach contents and such paints a picture of the eco systems’ health.

Remember Roy, we as Trappers only harvest the surplus animals. These are animals that mother nature will kill off in a different way. An agonizing way. A slow and painful way. We as Trappers do not not make them suffer. We trap humanly and ethical .
