I've noticed when using google to search such things as christian persecution,pro life sites, etc. I'll often get a google pop up of someone trying to hack my computer. Doesn't happen on any other sites except christian based ones. Anyone else have this occur?

I don't know about computers much. Is the duck duck go a replacement for google and does it work as good?
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I don't know about computers much. Is the duck duck go a replacement for google and does it work as good? Duck will handle 100% search results for most people. Unless you are someone doing far ranging research of obscure topics, the Duck will find what you want from news, photos to videos. I use Duck for 99% of my work online and only use Google if I can not find specific links. The problem is that Google is censoring right wing blogs and even they are not popping up in search results. Duck used to be Russian based and https://yandex.ru/ is a very good search engine. You do not have to speak Russian to use it, as you just enter a term in English and the results come up in the links. What no one has mentioned is Google, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, are all NSA back funded as the main alphabet agency runs the American version of the internet as they do the media in funding that for various results.

Just google alternative search engines, you can find a few best 5-8-10-20 comparisons. Most will tell you which are ad supported and or ad heavy. Dogpile is another that works but irrc it's loaded with ads. Yahoo has a search engine that works.  I know I have a simple mind but that had me in tears ... thank you
