Walk on by the Ravins. They are the $2500 ones...but wow are they fast!

Excalibur.

Although you may need to spend more than $500

We use ten point crossbows for mentored hunts, but those wicked ridge seem nice for a little better price point.

CenterPoint Sniper 370. Check them out on Cabelas and then check reviews on them. I have one and love it.

Excalibur Axiom is the Xbow I use. Right around $500.00. Wider than the average Xbow and noisy when shot but the deer don't react quick enough to avoid the bolt! All of the brands mentioned above would work good for you if you can find one in the $500.00 range!

Just took a look at Cabelas and the CenterPoint Sniper 370 Whisper has an "everyday price" of $249.00. That's what I have and I am highly satisfied with the accuracy and overall ease of use.

I’ve got a wicked ridge invader x4 and love it. Haven’t been able to use it on a deer yet but it does a number on the turkeys. It’s a tack driver. Think I paid 500 for it at Cabela’s.

I have a Parker Enforcer, think I gave around 450 for it , I cant recall for sure. It gets the job done just as well as the Ravins. I hunted with some guys that had Ravins, and they are awesome, but not worth the diiference in $ to me, but with that said, to each his own and good luck in your search

Parker went belly up about 6 months ago, better look elsewhere.

The Centerpoint Sniper is by far the best crossbow in that price point.

Only problem with my scorpyd is I almost never see the bolt in flight, even at 80 yds
