I just saw a small ozonics gizmo the plugs into your cigarette light in the truck. Anyone have this or something like it? I know certain times of year my truck can get a bit gamy.

When they work, they work great. They're prone to failure though.

I've got one that lasted about a year, like Eastwood44mag said, when it worked it was great.

It works best in vehicles that provide power to the cigarette lighter even when the vehicle is off. They're meant to be plugged in when you're not in the vehicle, such as overnight or while you have it parked at work.

Although not exactly what you're asking about, I just picked up a bigger ozone unit for my house and hunting. The one I got is a Scent Slammer 2-in-1 Purifier that can run either plugged into the wall with adjustable O3 output from 20-80 mg/h or it can run up to 8 hrs on the 5,000 mAh battery producing 20mg/h O3. There were a few options for units with this output at this price point ($100), but I chose this one because of its ability to run plugged into an outlet or on its own. It also has a threaded insert to use with a tree mount while hunting. There's also a USB output for charging things like a smartphone.

It would work in a car I'm sure, but the main reason I picked this up is because we're trying to sell our house and had one prospective buyer say she couldn't get over the dog smell. Now, she said she had allergies so that probably compounded the issue, but if I can knock that door out for $100 and get someone to buy the house, it's worth every penny. I just bought it this morning and plugged it in and ran a couple cycles and I'm very pleased with the results. The rooms are smaller, less than 150 sq ft, but the unit is rated for rooms up to 320 sq ft.

I'm sure it would work in a vehicle, I'm not sure what the O3 output of the cigarette lighter units is, but I'd say 20 mg/h would knock out most if not all of the funk, even in a trapping rig.

I have a CPAP cleaner that works with ozone. Leaves a distinctive odor.

I've got a Scent Crusher October generator for my truck. It works pretty well. I also have a Scent Lok oz400 radial ozone generator I use in the truck, camper, garage, treestand, etc. It was more money but much more versatile and has a higher output. Ozone is great at killing odors but it is hard on certain materials like rubber and elastic. You really should not run any kind of ozone generator while you're in a vehicle due to health concerns.
