Not a whiskey drinker myself but those that are may be crying softly into their pillow tonight. I don't think anyone was hurt. (I pray not) What a shame.
I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.

I like a little bourbon in the evening after supper, when all the fur is took care of and I'm pleasantly wore out sitting in front of the wood stove in my tent off in some wild place.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I only live a few miles from there. I heard the fire sirens go off near 11:30 last night. Had no idea what for. There was a major storm going on with lots of lightning. The current thought by fire & LE is a lightning strike caused the fire. What a waste of a good product. Alcohol abuse for sure.

Is bourbon flammable? I know high proof rum and Everclear grain alcohol will burn, wasn’t sure about 80 proof bourbon. Sure looks like it was a hot fire.

Those bottles will be replaced in bars and liquor cabinets by other bottles of Jim Beam or other brands/varieties. A drop in the bucket of alcohol consumption across the nation.
