My thoughts and prayers are with you Patrice and Zim.

Well, I'm home for a few days and I wish I could tell you all how special you are. Your messages mean everything to me. This is a huge loss for all of us. This is my dad's obituary: https://www.krausefuneralhome.com/obituary/thurlow-m-hausman-hans/That's very simple, but the whole story is that he was so extremely knowledgeable about so many things - trains, boats, airplanes. automobiles, all things mechanical, everything with an engine and everything without, anything with more than one part - that people would literally line up to ask for his advice on these subjects because they respected his knowledge and experience. He loved to know how everything worked - and if it didn't work, he would take it apart and fix it - and if it could not be fixed, he would take it apart and keep all of the spare parts in case they could be used for some future repair. I hope I have soaked up enough knowledge about enough things from him to get me through everything I encounter in life. I sure have tried. And I miss him so badly. Right now I need to help Mom. You people are golden. I mean it. If you have a moment, with the power of all of your thoughts and prayers, if you could please send those wonderful thoughts to my mom, Catherine, I sure would love it. She is a trooper and a cutie pie and a gem. Love you all, Patrice

Oh my, I truly don't know if it 's a blessing or a curse to have to go through something like this. But I will lean towards blessing. I lost the ole man 15 years ago come December and My Beautiful amazing, wonderful Mama last year in March. I still can't look at a pic of her and not take off my hat and cry. You know Patrice, you come off on here as a great lady and I want you to know I am so sorrowful for your loss. It's stone cold hard, but grieve and when your done with the first process of grieve, then hold on to the wonderment of times you had with your Daddy. I'm gonna stop, my best to you and Zim and especially your Mama.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Thank you so much, everyone. Thanks for the phone calls and PM's too. It's hard to focus and change gears like I have to. I'm back in my office editing books to get to the printers for my next round of client training in Detroit. As soon as I send the books off to be printed I'm on the road back to Mom's for funeral stuff this week. Zim will join me there. As soon as I get back I have to ship my books ahead to Detroit and get my configurations ready on the software end for that training, then unpack from funeral going, pack for business and head to Detroit for 2 weeks. Not exactly what I wish I was doing for the rest of July, but I just have to power through for now.
It gives me more strength when I see how kind people really are. Thank you all so much. Patrice
