Yeah that bear wasn't right. There is more to the story.
With all the talking and able to reason animals on tv and movies today I have no doubt people would walk up to a bear if it just stood there.
Used to be TV show called Gentle Ben, starring Ron Howards ugly little brother about a kid with a pet bear. My dad and grandad hated that show. Kept saying it was going to get somebody killed. I liked it though.
Movies like The Yearling were a lot more realistic.
Hard for me to process how a person who has spent their whole life in an urban environment thinks. It is definitely a different perspective than mine.

Them foreigners all seem to be just plain stupid around wild animals. I’ve seen lots of videos on u tube and other such places when tourists think they can get away with a photo op that the rest of us know could get us killed !
