I agree. Maker was from Wisconsin. Made in the 1970s, I think.

I recall when they came out with a full page ad in the Trapper and Predator Caller magazine saying they were going to have a trap on the market that would revolutionize trapping. It was a big hype. I'm thinking this was in the late nineties, because I was at conventions where they were set up selling this trap. I didn't start the convention circuit until 1998.

I used them, but got rid of them because I had female otters pull through the offset.

Thanks for the info everyone. Horn and Paul, this was one of
RayA’s traps. I remembered seeing them but couldn’t recall
what the name was.

They made a 160 size that would use a 220 size stand if that makes sense. 160 in height 220 width.

I killed a bunch of coons with them.

Had a couple 330 size-they were marketed as a dislocator. The offset jaw closure was supposed to also be a safety feature if it snapped on your hand.
Fair beaver trap, but like Paul said no good at all for otter.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Paul, I believe you are correct about the late 90's. I hadn't been trapping too many years before they came on the market. Remember the full page TPC ads.

John Kulish was his name from Oconto, Wisconsin...fine trap kills beaver just fine. Great steel and excellent springs.
