Anyone on here trap in that flat bottomland between Memphis and Jonesboro? Look like those field and ditches ought to be fur rich..

I thought it might be.

It's very wet there now. Must have had a lot of rain lately. Water standing in crop rows.

Lots of timbered bottomlands up and down the White River over by Clarendon where I grew up in the 1940's. No coyotes there then but probably truck loads now. In those days coyotes were strictly Western animals.

I’ll be crossing Crowley’s Ridge near Dexter, Mo on Wednesday en route to the NTA. I used to duck hunt just east of the ridge several years ago. I do enjoy riding through that part of the country and reminiscing.

Yep, I grew up on crowleys ridge near Benton. I live a few miles southeast of it now. I'm in the bottoms near Charleston, and we have a lot more coyotes down here than on the hill.

The Lord was not slack when He created this Earth......we are extremely blessed to live in such a diversely created nation with all sorts of His magnificent creation. I have travelled from North Dakota to lower Alabama and God definitely has blessed our nation. I have dropped out of Missouri several times heading towards Memphis and always thought that NE Arkansas area around Paragould was rather unique. The diversity of just Missouri alone is amazing from the dark black bottom soils of up north and along the river to the Ozark mountains with rock stream beds to the level flat bootheel.
