My kids all skipped town last night so I'm left taking care of the bottle baby today.

Nothing can get into trouble like a goat. Had one when I was a kid that got into everything. It discovered it could climb the woodpile and get to the roof of the house. It didn't last long after dad came home once and found a goat sunning itself on the roof!

Oh you've goat to be friggin' kid-ding me.

My wife would take it in a second. My daughter raised them for 4-h and there is nothing cuter than a baby Nubian goat other than its owner.

Eric you need to do better.

I've got two and they are a hoot. They are inseparable from the mare and donkeys and don't cause any major problems. They do like being on the highest thing around though.


Two is enough but I'm glad to have them.

We had a nanny and a kid when I was a young'un about 50 yrs ago. They will eat clothes off the clothes line, stand on your car, etc. Then we came home one morning from church and they had ate all the blossoms from Mom's rose bushes. They were gone that afternoon.

Reminded me of the Droopy Dog Cartoon where the goat is eating him out of house and home. So they strap him on a rocket and shoot him to the moon. Moments later you see bites being taken out the moon. Classic

These swinging porch chairs actually make a good milking set up. They come with cup holders that can be hung low enough to feed goat. Got a hole in bottom and everything!

I had some bee hives at a guy’s place that had goats. I parked my truck, suited up and lit my smoker, and when I looked back at my truck, two goats had jumped inside my cab through the open driver’s door and were eating my bag of Doritos.

We will be canning everything but the the choice cuts (ribs, etc...). Those will either get smoked or BBQed

If I ever got to have a farm, don't know if I could take goats. Spent half the time I worked for a docs farm chasing thedarn things back inside of their pens as they didn't care about the fences. Almost need to go to predator fencing if you don't stake em down.
