Maybe these fawns will get to make it to the fall. They have been staying close to the house in some thickets. These "Does" seem to know it may be more safe from the coyotes where they are bedding and feeding. We have seen some twins and single fawns in the last few weeks. They are just beginning to venture out in the open lately.

That is very neat. The wife and I have been watching a doe with twins near the house for the last couple weeks. I really like watching the cute little buggers play in the cut hay fields. They do seem to stick close, we see them just about every night.

Thanks for sharing. Great pictures.
Last evening, wife and I were sitting on patio and 2 doe and 3 fawns came into the backyard. We enjoyed watching the fawns race around at high speed. After awhile the younger doe joined in the race while the other doe would mule kick and spin around. Wife said, 'this is better watching than TV.'
We see them in the backyard 1-3 times a day. Older doe has twins, Younger doe has a single fawn.
