wolfie , look at the stuff at "tracks of the wolf " , you are pretty well qualified to build something nice and use it well . see ya on the range pilgrim .

Lyman is a nice rifle but he wanted a Kentucky style . I have shot the kibler in 36 very well balanced and accurate. I have not shot the colonial rifle from kibler .

Stay away from Traditions if you can afford it. Their stuff fits like a round peg in a square hole. I just recently did a Traditions pistol (posted a thread about it) It turned out pretty good. However, I'm an experienced wood worker and a machinist by trade. Both of these skills helped. Not saying you have to be an expert but the traditions are made from cheap materials and tossed together. Everything will need tweaked.
