Even the hordes of Puerto Ricans, who moved to the mainland, for the most part, have not fit in. Spain gave Puerto Rico it's independence in 1898, because they were not worth the hassle of keeping. We should have followed suit in 1899. It's embarrasing that part of our country looks like a third world country, badly in need of development and basic infrastructure. Keith
