I've never heard of them. I'll check them out.
Usually I just a 10" or 12" Chef Knife.

I use a 10" Santoka to halve, quarter and cut slices. A narrower blade slicing type knife if I'm chunking them up.

Eh...wot?

Like my Musashi dragon tang katana but these new mini melons aren't hardly a challenge. I don't cut them on anyones stomach or anything though, lol.

Mother carried one in her purse. She grew up in Port Richey, FL. I knew it as a citrus knife, growers would pick and cut citrus to check for ripeness as it's ripe before getting full color.

I have yet to meet any situation not handled by my Barlow. You can just about point it at a watermelon and watch her split.
