X2,
July & August the only two months I don't care for in Montana.

I am that guy who loves hunting and fishing in the rain and snow, and gigging on warm summer nights. But as I age with my health issues I can't handle the bitter cold or the extreme heat anymore. I'm sure there's somewhere out there where there's a balance, but I'm stuck here in Ohio. So when it gets real cold I get supplies in and wait it out. When it gets real hot, I get done what needs done early in the morning or at night. I sure don't want to be someplace that doesn't have Hickory trees and that beautiful smell when you walk into the woods.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I like all the seasons. Fall being my favorite. I don't like the short daylight hours of the winter.

I don't do that gay stuff, golf and gardening.
And I sure don't believe people ever lived on venus.
Yous are all buggered from the heat.

We have both scorching hot 100+ degree days in the Summer and Cold below 0 temps in the winter. I much prefer the cold!

I will add fly fisherpersons to that list as well. Most of them are as odd as golfers in my experience.

I moved to Virginia from Michigan 30 something years ago, and every winter I wonder whether I moved far enough south, and every summer I wonder if I moved too far south.

OK Hobbs, thank you ! I was wondering if anyone could be that tough !

I agree , extremes either way arent first choice grin

But if it had to go one way to the edge, Ill take the cold rather than melting heat !
