Seems she likes the cheesy green beans or at least the cheese that is on them. She looks vicious but is she is extremely gentle when you feed her.

Has she been de-scented and do you keep her in the house?

Yes and yes! She has a "den" area next to the TV with several cat beds she can crawl under or sleep on top of them and cardboard under rugs with a couple litter boxes. She sleeps in a huge storage box overnight with a screened lid or we would be up all night with her walking on us.

I am no skunk trapper (to the point of trying to avoid them) but never really thought as a skunk as an omnivore. Actually I never have really studied their habits much at all.
The next one I get in a trap I will try the green bean approach and let you know how it goes.

She loves rotisserie chicken, raw eggs/milk, cauliflower, broccoli, cheese, pork but will walk away from beef for some reason!

I got her from a buddy that raises exotic critters he was using my cages and asked if I wanted a skunk one day.

Zim-It's a proven fact that if you walk up to a trapped skunk very quickly with heavy steps, then hold a green bean out to them, it's like they are paralyzed and can't spray. Try it on the next one you trap, then let me know how it goes.

funniest picture I've seen in a while.

a few years back - when the dog was a pup, we'd give him frozen carrots or green beans as treats that felt good while he was teething.

I was picking beans and every so often, I'd throw him a fresh one out the garden. that evening i had a 5 gal bucket full of green beans with a couple jalapenos on top. he helped himself to a snack and found one of those jalapenos. one bite was all he needed. I found the rest sitting on the deck untouched. poor little guy wont eat a green bean to this day
