Mr. Ed OP trapper M Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 843 upstate NY	Finally got around to getting my trapline gun--- a S&W 317. Super ltwt and shoots good. Also picked up a S&W victory 22 at the same time. Got them in the house before the wife seen them. Looked at different options for a beater trap gun--- rough rider,ruger single six etc. Wanted a revolver since I thought it would be easier to maintain and if I slipped in the mud with it could spray it down with gun cleaner and shove it back into the holster. Easier to unload than a single action also which is why I leaned towards it.

It is as accurate as I am and is so light and comfortable to carry that it's easy to forget I have it on my belt. 10bands, mine was a Christmas present, although I did buy the holster.
