Broken belts in a tire r hard to see.

Im just worried that the new tires he put on are so well balanced and smooth that they are covering up the real problem and that ot will come back with wear..the only tires available where he broke down were Nicco a realy high end tire he said they didnt hardly take any weight to balance

That's what I thought too. Hope not but..................
When mine would wobble was when we would hit a bump or change lanes at high speeds, didn't take much. I would think new, especially "good" new tires could mask the problem.

After having everything replaced with no fix someone told me to check the stub shafts. Mechanic said "they never go bad". After pulling them he said they were the worst he had ever seen. Problem solved.

Glad he made it, sucks being stuck on the road.

Check the front driveshaft.

Out of round..I’ve driven Ford trucks since 1973 ,the only truck was 1977 that done this. Had tires trued and balanced ..fixed the problem
