I salute all law enforcement officers. You men and women do an almost unappreciative job and most of your good deeds go unrecognized especially by a thankless media (except Fox News). How many of you are or have been in law enforcement and which department did you work for?

6 years local PD, 7.5yr Federal LEO

13 years as a deputy sheriff and 11 years as sheriff.

14 years Juvenile corrections and 16 years at the SO Deputy/Dispatcher/Jailer. I ran the jail until I retired from full time I still work part time reserve just got home from a transport.

7 yrs State Game Protector, 5 yrs Fed Game Protector, 9 years County S.O. Deputy and on call for Fed. ABC Agency 3yrs. I wouldn't want to do it this day and age. Too much NO RESPECT.

22 years with Colorado State Patrol.

Just retired with 27.8 years. I would still be working if it wasn’t for having a heart attack. Riding my road bike to stay in shape was my demise. I miss my job everyday.

Thanks to all who serve and protect. My nieces' hubby is a deputy and is assigned as a school officer when school is in session. He says the ones with something to hide stand out like a sore thumb.!

I wouldn't last one day on that job.

8 Years Horn Lake Police Department. Been working a dual purpose K9 the last 3 years and what a joy. Thank you sir for the shout out means a lot.

15 years and counting Park & Bighorn Counties Wyoming. Deputy/Detention Officer/Firearms Instructor.

17 years Sheriff's Department in WI. Considering teaching trapper's ed.

24 years part time for the Union Township police department, 22 years full time for the Shenango Township police department and 17 years part tme for the New Beaver Borough police department all of which is in Lawrence County, Pa. currently still working for all 3 departments.
